Christian A. Fumuso is a partner and trial attorney at Fumuso Christesen LLP, having joined the firm in 2008.
In the Spring of 2007, Mr. Fumuso graduated from St. John’s Law School and initially worked at a large law firm in Manhattan, New York where he worked on numerous areas of medical malpractice defense.
Since coming to Fumuso Christesen LLP in 2008, Mr. Fumuso has focused his practice on defending doctors, physicians, hospitals, healthcare providers, oral surgeons, dental providers, long term care facilities, Nursing Home’s and general liability matters.
Mr. Fumuso routinely handles cases from inception to verdict with extensive trial experience in the areas of complex medical malpractice, Nursing Home litigation and Oral Surgery. As a trial attorney, Mr. Fumuso has secured defense verdicts for his clients throughout New York State, including venues of Suffolk County, Nassau County, Queens County, Manhattan County and Rockland County.
In addition to his trial work, Mr. Fumuso is involved in all aspects of case management including Mediations, client/expert conferences, witness preparation, depositions, and dispositive motions.
In 2025, Mr. Fumuso presented as a guest lecturer to the Hofstra Law School Mock Trial student body to discuss trial advocacy in today’s litigation arena. He has also presented Risk Management Seminars to the Administrators and staff of Nursing Homes throughout the New York area to help promote defensive medicine and reporting techniques in advance of potential lawsuits.
Mr. Fumuso regularly handles trials and court proceedings in all five boroughs of New York City along with venues in Nassau County, Suffolk County, Westchester County, Rockland County and Ulster County.
